Patterns and yarn are thoughtfully designed so that each Sirdar yarn of a given weight knits to the same tension (which 99% of the time is a “standard” tension). This means you can substitute yarns easily with no fuss.
The luxury branch of Sirdar is Sublime, with blends including merino wool, silk and cashmere.
